SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota police confiscated 446.2 grams of marijuana, a Draco AK pistol and a Glock model 27 .40 caliber handgun with ammunition during a traffic stop last week.
Genevieve Judge of the Sarasota Police Department said the traffic stop took place around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday after officers spotted a truck with dark tinted windows traveling along Dixie Avenue and 21st Street.
"As officers conducted a traffic stop, the truck quickly pulled into a driveway on 24th Street," Judge said.

Two of the five people inside the vehicle were taken into custody and arrested. They were identified as 25-year-old Johnny Belvin and 21-year-old Eunique Arnold, both of Sarasota.
Belvin has been charged with possession of a firearm by a Florida convicted felon, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana and use of a weapon during a criminal offense.
