Sarasota's 5 Things To Know: First Ringling Roundabout Open

 1. The Pineapple and Ringling Boulevard roundabout is open to traffic. The roundabout quietly opened Friday, but traffic cannot continue west on Ringling toward Palm Avenue where the other roundabout is being completed. That is expected to reopen June 15.

4. A group of mothers will stage a nurse-in this morning at the Sun-N-Fun RV Resort because they say a mother was asked to leave the Jacuzzi there while she nursed her child. A group of moms had staged a similar stores, including Sarasota, after a Target employee harassed a mother at a Houston store. . Florida specifically has a law protecting public breast-feeding. 5. Thinking about that master's degree? will host a graduate school info session June 2 at 9:30am in the Selby Auditorium at USF Sarasota-Manatee. 

The session includes an introductory information session, an alumni panel discussion, breakout sessions with faculty and program specialists, a financial aid workshop, campus tours, and a cookout in the courtyard.  Info on graduate level degrees in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Educational Leadership, Reading Education, Business, and Hospitality Management and will be offered that day.
