School Bus Crash Under Investigation: Sarasota County Sheriff's Office
A three-vehicle crash involving a school bus is under investigation Thursday, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said.
SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Thursday morning school bus crash involving two other vehicles.
The crash happened around 7:15 a.m. at Laurel Road and South Tamiami Trail, the agency said.
No children were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The bus driver and an adult passenger on the bus were treated at the scene and didn’t need to be brought to a local hospital.
The driver of one of the other vehicles involved was brought to Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Venice for minor injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
