Sheriff's Office Searches For Credit Card Theft Suspect
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance to identify a woman or women seen using credit cards that were stolen in two vehicle burglaries.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s assistance to identify a woman or women seen using credit cards that were stolen in two vehicle burglaries.
The woman in the first photo used the credit card stolen from a vehicle on Beach Road in March at the 7-11 on Siesta Key, according to the sheriff's office.
Another card stolen from a vehicle on Midnight Pass Road in early April was used at a SunTrust bank in North Port, the sheriff's office said. The woman in the second incident was driving a white van, according to the sheriff's office.

In both crimes a suspect smashed the vehicle's window to steal valuables. Citizens should remember to never leave items of value in plain view. Purses, wallets or electronics should be locked in the trunk, center console or glove compartment.
