South Trail Wells Fargo Bank Robbed

Sarasota County Sheriff's Office say suspect handed teller note at South Trail Wells Fargo demanding cash.

The is looking for a man who robbed the South Trail Friday afternoon.

A man entered the bank, 8595 S. Tamiami Trail, at about 4 p.m. when he approached a teller and handed her a note demanding money and implied he had a weapon, the sheriff's office reported.

The suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash and left the bank, the sheriff's office said.

The suspect, shown in the photos with this story, is described as white, in his 30s, about 5 feet 9 inches with a medium build and a light goatee. He work a grey shirt, light colored pants, white sneakers and a dark colored baseball hat.
