Sword Used In Sarasota Stabbing
Sarasota police say a 56-year-old man used a sword in a Monday morning attack on another person.

SARASOTA, FL — Sarasota Police have released more details in a Monday stabbing that sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries.
According to the agency, a dispute between Riccardo Musto, 56, of Sarasota and other man broke out shortly before 11:30 a.m. April 3. When police were called to the scene in the 1100 block of Central Avenue, they found Musto and an injured man.

The injured man, whose name has not been released by authorities, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Musto, police said, cooperated with officers. He has since been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Police on Tuesday revealed the weapon used in the attack was a sword.
