Village On The Isle marks key construction milestone in $78 million expansion project

Village On The Isle (VOTI), a not-for-profit Life Plan community in Venice, has marked a key milestone on the construction of its $78 million expansion project. The community has completed the highest point of construction on the 9,200-square-foot wellness center and 54 independent living units being added to the campus. The community expects to welcome residents to the new spaces next summer.

“The ‘topping out’ of our newest buildings is a major milestone in our construction journey,” said Doug Feller, CEO of Village On The Isle. “We’re so grateful to the hardworking men and women who are bringing our vision to life and are so proud of what’s to come at Village On The Isle.”

The wellness center, which will be named “The Core,” will be located at the center of the 16-acre community. It will feature a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pickleball court, spa and sauna, professionally branded poolside lounge, and zero-entry outdoor pool. The renovation will include two five-story independent living buildings, which will allow the community to meet the growing demand for independent living in the area.

Currently, the community has 234 independent living units, 48 assisted living units, 16 memory care units, and 64 private skilled nursing beds. The new independent living buildings will add 54 independent living residences ranging from 1,300 to 1,800 square feet. The buildings are 100% presold and now accepting waitlist members.
