Watch: Thieves Walk Off With 2 Chairs
Sarasota deputies are looking for help identifying two people accused of swiping chairs from DutchCrafters Amish Furniture.

SARASOTA, FL — The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying two people deputies say walked up to DutchCrafters Amish Furniture last week and helped themselves to some chairs.
The crime in question was reported around 9 a.m. Feb. 2. Deputies say the two suspects walked up to the 3709 N. Lockwood Ridge Road store around 4:40 a.m. that same morning and took two chairs that had been chained down outside. Deputies say the total value of the stolen furniture set is $2,700. That set includes four wooden black and brown chairs and a matching table.
Surveillance video released of the crime shows two people in dark clothing running up to the store and walking away with a pair of chairs. It is unclear if they came back for the other two chairs and table.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects in the video is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 941-861-4900. Tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 941-366-TIPS.
