The victim suffered a "severe bite" to her ear during the fight at a Sarasota park, according to police.

A dispute over a phone led one Sarasota woman to bite another woman's ear during a fight at a local park, according to police.
Officers found the 38-year-old victim suffering from "a severe bite" to her left ear when they responded to a report of a battery around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fredd Atkins Park.
The victim told officers she and Kesha Taylor, 32, had gotten into a fight over a phone that turned physical. That's when Taylor allegedly bit her ear, then drove away, the woman said.

As officers were still investigating at the scene, Taylor returned, telling them "she knew that she should return otherwise she could be in more trouble," according to the arrest affidavit.
Taylor told officers the victim started the fight, striking her in the mouth and biting her in the nose unprovoked. She admitted to then "loosing it (sic)" and biting the victim's ear, the affidavit states.
