CLEARWATER, FL — A fire on a 50-foot yacht in Clearwater Harbor was extinguished Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast wrote in a Facebook post.

Crews from U.S. Coast Guard Station Sand Key worked with partner agencies to battle the blaze.

A good Samaritan brought two boaters from the yacht to Clearwater Harbor Marina for emergency medical services and reported the fire, the coast guard said.

Other responding agencies included the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the Clearwater Police Department, and the Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department.
