The endangered Indian rhinoceros calf was born in May.

An endangered Indian rhinoceros calf named Jiyu is now on exhibit with his mother Jamie at Lowry Park Zoo near Seminole Heights.

For a few hours a day, Jiyu - born May 9 - and his mother Jamie are available for the public to see. Jiyu's birth was the third for the species at the zoo in five years, according to a news release.

Keepers say Jiyu is "bold and outgoing, with a big personality for a little rhino."
