Barricaded Suspect in Custody, Evacuation Lifted
Police report that they responded to a barricaded suspect with felony warrants, in response to a domestic dispute.

An evacuation has been lifted after a man reportedly with mental problems and under the influence of crack cocaine was taken into custody shortly before noon today, Feb. 11, according to Lt. E. Vazquez of the Tampa Police Department.
Vazquez said in a phone interview that gas was used to lure the suspect, Pedro L. Rivera, out of a detached garage that he had run into after police responded to a domestic dispute at 515 E. Floribraska Ave. in Tampa Heights.
