TAMPA, FL — No one was injured, but fire destroyed a house near ZooTampa Monday morning.
Tampa Fire Rescue responded to the fire in the 1400 block of West Sligh Avenue at 9:33 a.m. and found heavy smoke showing from the roof and eaves of the home.
With zero visibility inside the home, firefighters made a defensive attack from the outside and got the fire under control in two hours.
