Last week, Health Mutt celebrated their one-year anniversary in Seminole Heights with an event for pets and their parents.
About 400 people showed up at the event to adopt dogs and raise $300 for animal rescue groups, said owner Kendra Bailey.
"I promoted the event for a little over one month, so I was so excited there was a great turnout," said Bailey. "We have a great community in this neighborhood, and it was nice to see everyone out and about. It was for the humans as much as for the dogs, with cake beer and pizza."
