11 FL Towns Among Best Places To Live, New Ranking Says

FLORIDA — Eleven Florida towns are among the most livable places in the country, according to a new report based on factors such as cost of living, lifestyle amenities and community spirit.

The towns were ranked on the apartment search website Rent Cafe’s 20 most livable metro areas. The report analyzed 139 metro areas across 17 different metrics using data from the American Community Survey, Census Bureau and USDA, among other sources.

Gainesville ranked 67th overall; Economy Rank: 77; Quality of Life Rank: 63; Location & Community Rank: 65

Pensacola ranked 82nd overall; Economy Rank: 32; Quality of Life Rank: 87; Location & Community Rank: 90

Deltona ranked 89th overall; Economy Rank: 13; Quality of Life Rank: 94; Location & Community Rank: 98

Miami ranked 90th overall; Economy Rank: 97; Quality of Life Rank: 38; Location & Community Rank: 124

Orlando ranked 91st overall; Economy Rank: 51; Quality of Life Rank: 70; Location & Community Rank: 113

Tampa ranked 95th overall; Economy Rank: 40; Quality of Life Rank: 79; Location & Community Rank: 111

Cape Coral ranked 96th overall; Economy Rank: 47; Quality of Life Rank: 62; Location & Community Rank: 121
