15th Annual Bolt Run Set for March 26

5K and other distance races highlight morning of events to support the Lightning Foundation.

TAMPA, FL – Before the Bolts hit the ice March 26, you can bolt around downtown Tampa during the 15th Annual Florida Hospital Bolt Run.

The event, which features a 5K race, a 5-mile race, and a 1-mile family fun run, starts at Amalie Arena at 7 a.m. There will also be pre- and post-race parties on Ford Thunder Alley outside the arena. Every participant will receive:

  • One ticket to a select Tampa Bay Lightning game or two tickets to a Tampa Bay Storm game (Game choice for tickets are first come, first serve and while supplies last. Game dates are subject to change.)
  • A Finisher’s medal for the 5K and 5 Mile races
  • A Finisher’s Award for the 1 Mile Family Fun Run
  • A commemorative Bolt Run T-shirt
  • Pre/post-race activities with food and drink
  • A Lightning-themed race goodie bag
  • A donation to the Lightning Foundation and Charitable partners

Although online registration has closed, participants can still register during the packet pick-up on March 24 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Amalie Arena, 401 Channelside Drive, or from 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. before the event starts.

Current entry fees are:

  • 1 Mile Run: $35
  • 5 Mile Run: $65
  • 5K Run: $65
