Wesley Chapel High School Math Teacher Dies In Head-On Crash At Morris Bridge Road
The crash occurred near the Pasco County line about 7 a.m. and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

TAMPA, FL - Two men were killed Monday morning in a crash on Morris Bridge Road in Hillsborough County. The crash occurred near the Pasco County line about 7 a.m. and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Howard Hawkins Jr., 50, of Zephyrhills was headed southbound on Morris Bridge Road in a white Kia Forte when he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a Ford Fusion. The Fusion was driven by 38-year-old Marcellus Shackelford, who was headed north. Shackelford was a Wesley Chapel High School math teacher and was on his way to school, Pasco County Schools reported on social media.
Both cars were traveling about 45 mph when the crash occurred. Deputies say the drivers showed no signs of impairment.
