RUSKIN, FL — Three teenagers were arrested early Monday morning for breaking into vehicles in a Ruskin neighborhood, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post. (Watch a video from the agency’s Aviation Section of the suspects below.)

Though HCSO named the teens, it’s Patch policy not to name minors accused of a crime unless they’ve been charged as an adult. It’s unknown whether he has been charged as a juvenile or an adult.

Deputies responded to a 911 call about the vehicle break-ins around 3:15 a.m. They called in the Aviation and K9 sections for assistance.

The suspects — later identified as three boys, ages 14, 15 and 17 — were seen throwing stolen items into a wooded area before running into a home, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies contacted the residents of the home and identified the teen suspects. They were arrested and each charged with burglary of an unoccupied vehicle.
