Akon Performs Energized Concert At Tampa Hard Rock Event Center

TAMPA, FL - R&B and Hip-Hop legend Akon rocked the house last night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. For those in attendance, it was trip down memory lane as the artist performed plenty of hits including "Lonely," "Smack That," "Beautiful," and "Bartender."

The concert was energized from start to finish with fans singing along with the artist at times and plenty of dancing as many were transported back to the mid 2000's and early 2010's, a simpler era for many. Akon danced several times and took selfies with fans as the concert winded down.

Akon's first ticket to fame was with his debut single "Locked Up." The artist has gone on to work with successful artists across the music business and has joined numerous hit songs as guest singer, producer, and song writer. The wide-variety of songs were on display during the concert as Akon crossed numerous genres and recognizable hits throughout.

The Hard Rock Event Center was the perfect venue for fans with plenty of libations flowing and lighting and acoustics that matched the energy. It was a night to remember.
