Man’s Body Found In Empty Lot: Tampa Police
Detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in an empty lot, Tampa police said.
TAMPA, FL — A man’s body was found in an empty lot in Tampa on Friday morning.
Officers responded to the 2700 block of 18th Avenue E. just around 11 a.m. after reports of a man found dead in the area, Tampa police said in a news release.
Detectives are working to identify the man and to notify his next of kin about his death.

The official cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
