Body Pulled From Waters Near Chapin Street: Tampa Police

Detectives are working to identify a man whose body was pulled from waters near Chapin Street Monday, Tampa police said.

TAMPA, FL — A man’s body was pulled from waters near the 2400 block of Chapin Street on Monday afternoon, according to a Tampa Police Department news release.

Officers responded to reports of a body in the water just before 3:15 p.m.

The department’s dive team recovered the body from the water.
