Brandon Man Accused Of Molesting 14-Year-Old Boy

BRANDON, FL - A 51-year-old Brandon man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old boy over a six-month period, deputies said. The man was identified as Jeffery Randel Nelson. He was charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation on Dec. 14, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Between June 1 and Dec. 11, deputies said Nelson invited a 14-year-old boy to his Brandon residence. The victim said Nelson inappropriately touched him. The victim said on one occasion, Nelson removed his clothing, carried him into the shower, and used a wash cloth to wash his body. On Dec. 14, Nelson admitted to the the offenses, deputies said.

Nelson was arrested at his residence without incident and booked into the Orient Road Jail.
