- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reviving its iconic "Creamsicle" uniforms this upcoming NFL football season. A promotional video for the uniform featured current Bucs stars Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Lavonte David and Antoine Winfield as well as legends, including Mike Alstott, Rondé Barber and Derrick Brooks. - Pasco County Mosquito Control District is working to address mosquito prevention amid rising cases of malaria throughout Florida. Most cases are concentrated in the Sarasota area, south of Tampa Bay, and no cases have been reported so far in Pasco County. The public is being encouraged to use bug spray and wear long sleeve clothing while the county takes action to spray for the pests. (ABC Action News)
- Café con Tampa has found a new location at the Portico Café located at 1001 North Florida Ave. in downtown Tampa. The next meeting is on July 21 with Patrick Manteiga, editor and publisher of La Gaceta, speaking at the gathering. Meetings were being held at Willa's for most of this year and at Oxford Exchange before that. (Florida Politics)
- Half Moon Seafood Company is the latest company to come to Sparkman Wharf in Water Street Tampa. The restaurant has another location at 11508 N 56th St. in Temple Terrace. The seafood and chicken-centric menu offers fresh ingredients as well as sauces made in-house. (Tampa Patch)
- The annual budget proposed in Hillsborough County for the upcoming year is proposed at $9.12 billion. It represents a jump over $600 million in spending. Inflation and salary adjustments and benefits are driving increased costs for the county. The spending will be offset by taxes. (Subscription: Tampa Bay Times)
