Here are the top stories today in Tampa:

1. New options are coming to local airports for travelers. Southwest Airlines is adding daily service from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) to Tampa International Airport (TPA) starting on March 7. Avelo Airlines is also launching a new service from Wilmington Airport (Philadelphia/Delaware) (ILG) to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) starting on Nov. 2. The new announcements come as other routes begin cuts. (WFLA)
2. A deep-dive from the Tampa Bay Times into the detention of Miami-Dade Police Chief Alfredo Ramirez during his suicide attempt in Tampa has some experts suggesting Tampa Police was out of line when they detained Ramirez. Ramirez later shot himself on I-75 when leaving the hotel but survived the incident. The family of Ramirez is now disputing the circumstances of what happened in Tampa. (Tampa Bay Times)
3. Local artist Cam Parker has created a new Beyoncé mural at 1703 N Tampa St. in honor of the iconic music artist and performer. The artist hopes Beyoncé will see the work of art as she descends on the Tampa area soon for her concert at Raymond James Stadium. Murals by Parker are spread across the city. (That's So Tampa)
4. Those looking for a spooky adventure should check out St. Peters Ghosts tours across the bridge. The tours are happening every first and second Friday and Saturday of the month until mid-November. Tours include admission to St. Petersburg Museum of History. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
5. Zydeco Brew Werks in historic Ybor City has been voted no. 4 on the "10 best brewpubs in the United States" by USA Today. Their dining menu is inspired by New Orleans and Cajun cuisine, while the beers are inspired by global flavors. Zydeco only opened a few years ago. (WFLA)
