Hyde Park Art Studio is offering cartooning and painting art classes for kids aged 7-12. The session runs from May 21 until June 27 at the studio, 702 S. Albany, with instructor Tim Gibbons. Cartooning for Kids is from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m., and allows kids to learn the basics of cartooning, from facial expression to story boarding. Supplies are included, and the cost is $60 for a six-week session. Painting for Kids is from 5:15 p.m. until 6:15 p.m., and will show kids how to have fun with watercolor and acrylics.
