1. Chamberlain High School in Tampa will retire its "Chiefs" mascot. The decision comes amid emotional testimony on Tuesday night and an online petition that gathered more than 6,000 signatures. (Spectrum News 13)
2. Online review giant Yelp ranked the top 100 restaurants in Florida. Tampa Bay had 20 restaurants featured on the list including Chicago Paulies, Pure Kitchen Organic, Health N Fresh Cafe, Flan Factory, Pacific Counter and more. (Subscription: Tampa Bay Business Journal)

4. Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano's five offices will be collecting donations in July for the Pasco County School District's ABC (Assist, Believe & Care) Program. 5. Local Girl Scouts in Troop 3103 are holding their annual "reverse garage sale" where they will collect new and like-new board games on Saturday, June 25. It will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Bloomingdale West Park, located at 3940 Canoga Park Dr. in Brandon. Those who cannot attend can also support online using their Amazon Wish List. - Florida beach residents and conservationists are applauding the signing of a bill by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a victory. The bill permits cities and counties to ban cigarette butts on beaches, long desired by beach towns. (Tampa Patch)
