1. The Chasco Fiesta is back in New Port Richey after a pandemic hiatus. The 10-day festival returned Friday and is celebrating the 100th year since it was founded in 1922. The festival includes a street and boat parade, Native American festival, carnival, live entertainment, as well as food and craft vendors. (Tampa Patch)
2. Tampa Bay AirFest is this weekend at MacDill Air Force Base. The festival will feature the return of the iconic Blue Angels to Tampa. The last time the Blue Angels were at MacDill AFB was four years ago at the Tampa Bay AirFest 2018. They were planned to be at MacDill in 2020, but the event was canceled that year due to COVID-19. 3. The Tampa Bay area is ranked number three on a list of the top U.S. cities people are looking to move to, according to a data analysis from real estate firm Redfin. More than 9,000 additional people moved into the area than out during the first two months of 2022, Redfin found, compared to about 6,000 during the same period a year ago. (Tampa Bay Times)
4. Caddy's in Bradenton has canceled plans to host a "going to prison" party for a Parrish man who was convicted in connection to the January 6, 2021 Capitol Hill riot. Adam Johnson made national headlines when he was photographed carrying House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's lectern after entering restricted U.S. Capitol grounds during the Insurrection. (WFLA)
5. Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel Experience is coming to Tampa's Westshore Plaza on April 29. Tickets are available starting March 29 at 10 a.m. The exhibit is reproduced using state-of-the-art technology and is suitable for all ages. A visit will take approximately 60 to 90 minutes.
