Find out what's in store in the weather department for the Tampa Bay area and surrounding counties as the workweek moves forward.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents who enjoy a little nip in the air will likely find the forecast for the week ahead pleasing. While downright cold temperatures aren’t in the cards, highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s are anticipated throughout much of the week ahead.
Monday is expected to kick things off with mostly cloudy conditions in much of the Tampa Bay area and surrounding counties. The day’s high is anticipated to climb to the mid- to upper-70s. Mostly cloudy conditions are expected in the overnight hours when the low should drop into the upper 50s.
Just how well folks in the region might be able to see Monday’s supermoon may depend on the area they live in. In Hillsborough and immediate surrounding counties, those partly cloudy conditions will likely enable the moon’s brightness to shine through. In Manatee and Sarasota counties, however, thicker cloud cover could dampen the spectacle.
