County Tax Collector Temporarily Closing Drew Park Location

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Tax Collector's Drew Park branch, located at 4100 W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., will be temporarily closed starting Monday, April 24, to make much-needed improvements to sound quality at the facility.

The Drew Park facility's open ceiling will be lowered from 20 feet to 10 feet to help with the sound quality for the 200-person capacity lobby. Improvements will be completed quickly with an expected re-opening date of Monday, May 1.

"It is always a difficult decision to close an office providing service to the public, even for a short period of time," said Nancy C. Millan, Hillsborough County tax collector. "We recently lowered the ceilings at our Brandon facility for the same sound quality issues and the improvement has been tremendous for our customers and our team members. We know it will have the same effect at our Drew Park location as well."

The tax collector's office has several other satellite offices located throughout Hillsborough County to serve the public.

The offices are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Driver's license service hours are offered from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
