Crime Blotter: Vending Machine Stolen; Woman Knocked Down During Robbery

  • Around 2:57 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, a white Chevy pickup pulled up to a business. Two people got out and threw a rock through the front glass door of a business at 3385 S. Dale Mabry Highway and stole a candy vending machine. One of the suspects had a sheet over his body.
  • Around noon on Thursday, Feb. 7, a woman parked in the back parking lot of a business at 2120 S. Dale Mabry Highway. She opened the passenger door to her vehicle as a suspect approached her and grabbed her purse on her left shoulder and tried to flee. The woman tried to hang on to her purse, but couldn't and fell on the ground. The suspect fled on foot.
