Dale Mabry Exit Off I-275 Closed

Motorists can use the southbound Dale Mabry Highway exit to access North Dale Mabry Highway.

Motorists can expect even bigger delays along I-275 between the junction of I-75 and the Howard Avenue exit.

The Florida Department of Transportation has closed the northbound Dale Mabry Highway exit off I-275 (Exit 41B) as of today, July 29.

Northbound I-275 Exit 41B to northbound Dale Mabry Highway is now
closed (as of Monday morning, July 29).

From now on, motorists will use Exit 41A to go either direction on Dale Mabry Highway.

Drivers are urged to pay close attention as the exit point to Exit
41A comes before you reach Exit 41B. If you miss the exit, the next exit point is Armenia Avenue (Exit 42).

I-275 is currently being widened from east of State Road 60 to the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. The 4.2-mile $215.4 million project got under way July 31, 2012 and is estimated to be completed in the fall of 2016.

When completed, there will be four through-lanes in each direction, a flatter roadway (no more steep humps at bridges over crossroads) to improve sight distance and decrease the chances of accidents, improved interchanges to help move traffic on and off I-275, and a wide median to decrease cost and public impact when future improvements are built.
