Dale Mabry, Westshore Boulevard Lane Closures Ahead

The I-275 widening project from State Road 60 to the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa continues to progress, with the Florida Department of Transportation providing updates on which streets will experience lane closures.

The project effects areas near South Tampa and downtown.

Two major roads that will have lane closures this weekend are Dale Mabry and Westshore Boulevard.

All lanes of Westshore Boulevard under I-275 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from June 23 until July 2, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

A northbound detour: head northbound on I-275 to Lois (Exit 40B), north on Lois Avenue and west of Cypress Street. A southbound detour: head east on Cypress Street, south on Lois Avenue and west on Kennedy Boulevard.

Meanwhile, lane closures will occur on June 26 and 27 on Dale Mabry at I-275, according to FDOT. One two two lanes may be closed in each direction of Dale Mabry from Cypress to Spruce from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on both days.
