Department Store Chain Debuts New, Smaller Concept Shop In Tampa Area
A national department store chain is debuting its new concept, a curated, smaller-footprint market, in Wesley Chapel.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — The Belk department store chain will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of its new Belk Market in Wesley Chapel on Dec. 19 at 9:30 a.m.
The Belk Market in The Grove at Wesley Chapel, 5845 Wesley Grove Blvd., as well as a store in Frisco, Texas, mark the debut of the retailer’s new concept, according to a news release from the company.
The Belk Market store “locations offer customers the chance to shop a carefully curated assortment of top national and private label brands in a smaller footprint,” the company said.

These stores are “designed to give local shoppers a dynamic mix of their favorite brands, exclusive new arrivals, and community-tailored styles; all in a more convenient, easy-to-navigate space,” Belk said.
They’ll feature a mix of products, including men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel, as well as shoes, handbags, accessories, home decor and jewelry.

To celebrate its opening in Wesley Chapel, Belk is offering customers in-store giveaways, contests and deals and treats throughout the day. A special giveaway will be available for the first 100 shoppers on Saturday.
