Driver Runs From Minivan That Overturned In Creek: FL Highway Patrol
Troopers are looking for a driver who lost control of a minivan that overturned into a Hillsborough County creek early Wednesday, FHP said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Investigators are looking for a driver who ran from a minivan that overturned in a Hillsborough County creek early Wednesday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
A Kia Sedona was speeding as it traveled south on Old US-41A just before 1:30 a.m.
Near the intersection of US-41, the unknown driver lost control of the minivan, which drove off the road and hit a guardrail, FHP said. It overturned into a nearby creek before coming to a stop.

The driver left the scene on foot, leaving the unregistered vehicle with an unassigned license plate in the water.
As a precaution, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office divers searched the water and found nothing, FHP said.
