Accused DUI Driver Charged In Fatal FL Crash That Killed Pedestrian
A woman accused of driving under the influence was arrested after hitting and killing a man on N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa police said.
TAMPA, FL — A woman accused of driving under the influence was arrested after hitting and killing a pedestrian early Sunday morning, according to a Tampa Police Department news release.
When officers responded to the crash at the intersection of N. Nebraska Avenue and E. Robson Street around 4:20 a.m., they found a man in the road.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Armahnee Edwards, 23, was heading north on N. Nebraska Avenue when the man walked into her car’s path, police said.
She showed signs of impairment at the scene, according to investigators.
Edwards was taken into custody and charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence with property damage or personal injury, and one felony count of driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked (death or serious bodily injury).
