  1. One lucky person won $1 million in Hillsborough County on Tuesday night in the Mega Millions drawing, according to officials. Mega Millions tickets are $2 each. The lucky ticket was sold at a Publix store at 6434 U.S. Highway 41 North in Apollo Beach, TCPalm reported. (Tampa Patch)
  2. A local Moe's Southwest Grill franchisee has admitted to paying employees late. Employees recently closed the store in protest as they are unable to pay their bills without being paid on-time, with some complaining they had not been paid in two weeks. The owner blamed a Fourth of July banking delay and claims the employees have been paid. (WFLA)
  3. Hillsborough County leaders have approved a community of 1,800 new homes in Wimauma, alarming locals about the costs for infrastructure. 180 homes in the community will be reserved for affordable housing and the community will also feature a new school, community center, park and village center. County leaders said it will up to the state to handle increased traffic congestion that will come from the new houses. (ABC Action News)
  4. Elev8 arcade, a new entertainment complex, has opened its doors in the Citrus Park Mall. The venue includes arcade games, putt-putt, bowling, a ropes course, laser tag, go carts and more. At least 880 games are inside the facility. (WTSP)
  5. Dutch Bros. Coffee, a popular drive-thru coffee concept, is planning to open a location in South Tampa. The first location in the area will be located at 3616 W Ballast Point Blvd. No opening date is available at this time. (That's So Tampa)
