Early-Morning Shooting Under Investigation In Tampa
The shooting occurred around 1:20 a.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Sanchez Street, police said.
TAMPA, FL — Police are investigating an early-morning shooting in Tampa that left one person injured.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the shooting occurred around 1:20 a.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Sanchez Street.
When police arrived, they found a man in his late 30s with injuries to his upper body and immediately provided first aid. Tampa Fire Rescue took the man to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable but critical condition.

Preliminary information suggests the shooting was not random. Detectives are continuing to gather evidence and develop leads that will help determine what led to the shooting, as well as identify all parties involved.
