Eddie V's Will Open Near International Plaza

Eddie V's Prime Seafood is coming to International Plaza.

Eddie V's will open April 4th and be located at 4400 W Boy Scout Blvd., according to the company's website. It is the first Eddie V's to open in Florida.

Currently, there are Eddie V's in Texas, California and Arizona.

This is how Eddie V's describes its menu:

"Enjoy a robust and varied selection of fish and shellfish hand selected from the top catches of the day. Or indulge in our critically acclaimed aged steaks, broiled to perfection and lightly brushed with butter. Complemented, of course, by the ideal wine pairing, and completed with irresistible side dishes and desserts. All presented to you by a gracious, professional staff eager to serve."

According to the Tampa Bay Times:

"The emphasis is on seafood that was likely in the ocean or gulf less than 24 hours before it is on your plate," Darden spokesman Hunter Robinson said. "We call that top of the catch."
