Elderly Couple Found Dead At Tampa Home During Wellness Check: Reports

TAMPA, FL — An elderly couple was found dead in their Tampa home during a Monday afternoon wellness check, months after a friend told authorities they hadn’t heard from them, according to multiple reports.

Officers checked in on the couple at their home in the 4100 block of West Palmira Avenue just before 3 p.m. and found them dead inside, Tampa Bay 28 reported.

The wellness check came after a friend told police that they hadn’t seen or heard from the couple in several months, WFLA said.

Police say there is no indication that there was foul play, Fox 13 reported.
