FL To Execute 'Casanova Killer' Who Claimed He Killed 70 People
Glen Rogers, called the "Casanova Killer," claimed to have killed 70 people, including Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, reports said.

FLORIDA — A man convicted of killing two women — one in Florida and the other in California in the 1990s — is set to be executed next month in the Sunshine State, according to multiple reports.
Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a death warrant Tuesday for Glen E. Rogers, 62, who is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection on May 15 at Florida State Prison near Starke, according to ABC News.
Rogers, nicknamed “The Casanova Killer” and “The Cross Country Killer,” was convicted in 1997 for the Florida murder of Tina Marie Cribbs and sentenced to death.

The two were seen leaving a Gibsonton bar together in November 1995 after he asked the 34-year-old woman for a ride, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune said.
Cleaning staff found her stabbed to death two days later in the bathtub of Rogers’ room at Tampa 8 Inn. She had knife wounds to the chest and buttocks, some more than 8 inches deep.

Rogers was also given a second death sentence in California in 1999 for the death of Sandra Gallagher, Kron4 reported. He met the woman at a Van Nuys bar in September 1995. Her burned corpse was found the next day in her truck, which was parked near his apartment.
He was also accused of killing several other women, including in Mississippi and Louisiana, and was suspected in the death of a man in Ohio, reports said.
Rogers previously claimed to have killed nearly 70 people, though, reportedly, he later said it was a joke.
He also claimed responsibility for the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, Fox 8 said.
So far this year, three inmates have been executed in Florida, with a fourth scheduled to be executed on May 1. Barring any last-minute appeals for the upcoming executions, Rogers would be the fifth person executed in the state this year.
