Woman Killed, Man Injured In Fatal Stabbing At FL Park During Altercation
Investigators are looking into an altercation that led to a stabbing that left a woman dead, a man injured at a Tampa-area park, HCSO said.

TAMPA, FL — A stabbing at a Tampa area park that left a woman dead and a man injured Sunday evening remains under investigation, according to a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The fatal stabbing happened just before 7 p.m. at Country Run Park, 12367 Anderson Road.
The HCSO Communications Center received multiple 911 calls about the incident.

Deputies who responded to the scene learned that a dispute had taken place between the man and the woman, the sheriff’s office said.

Both were stabbed during the altercation and brought to a local hospital for treatment.
The woman later died from her injuries, while the man remains hospitalized, HCSO said.
“This violent incident, in a place meant for families and children, is both disturbing and unacceptable,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “Our detectives are committed to uncovering the full truth behind this tragic incident. If anyone has information that could assist in this investigation, I urge you to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.”
