Fatal Thanksgiving Shooting Under Investigation In Tampa: Police
A man was killed in a Thanksgiving Day shooting in Tampa, police said.
TAMPA, FL — A deadly Thanksgiving Day shooting is under investigation in Tampa, authorities said.
Officers responded to reports of a person being shot in the 4100 block of Charter Oak Court around 3:30 p.m., Tampa police said in a news release.
When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was declared dead at the scene.

Two people who knew each other got into a fight before the shooting, police said.
The shooter stayed at the scene and was detained.
