1. Father's Day is Sunday, June 19, and Patch has put together a selection of activities, dining options and freebies for residents to enjoy. Activities include The Florida Aquarium, Tampa Bay Automobile Museum, The Lost Pearl and more. (Tampa Patch)
2. Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation was recently named the 2022 National Recreation and Park Association Innovation in Social Equity Award winner for its wheelchair football program. The Hillsborough County Buccaneers Wheelchair Football program was created in the spring of 2021. The county's team is one of nine national teams that compete in the USAWFL, and is the only team in the league to represent a government agency. (Tampa Patch)
3. Biologists with The Florida Aquarium are studying more than a dozen species of coral to help restore Florida's Reef Tract. Rachel Serafin, senior coral biologist with the group, is studying nearly 17 specials of coral in Apollo Beach. (ABC Action News)
4. Cats Caffeine is set to debut soon at 4033 Henderson Boulevard, Tampa, the area's first cat café. Those who want to provide help to the owners and their cats as they are preparing open are welcome to support Cats Caffeine through an Amazon Wishlist. (That's So Tampa)
5. "Paper Line" is the story of a secret fraternity of Black martial artists at an unnamed, prestigious Florida HBCU (historically Black college and university). The film will debut this weekend at Tampa Theatre in downtown Tampa as part of the Juneteenth holiday. (WUSF)

- Online ticket resale site now shows tickets for the next several games between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Colorado Avalanche running between a few hundred and over $12,000 each. Fans are warned to watch out for scams. (ABC Action News)
- Tampa City Council approved moving forward with creating a Tenants' Advocacy Office on Thursday, amid an affordable housing crisis. Residents are complaining of evictions and rising rents, without knowing where to get help. (Fox 13)
- The HART June Board Meeting will be held in a hybrid format on Tuesday, June 21, at 9 a.m. Anyone who wishes to speak during the meeting will need to pre-register by emailing JacksonD2@gohart.org by Monday, June 20 at 5 p.m. (Twitter)
