Foggy Mornings, Mostly Sunny Days: Tampa Bay Area Workweek Weather
Dense fog in the early morning hours is expected to remain a concern in the Tampa Bay area for the next day or so.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay area residents not impressed with the gloomy start to the workweek can rest assured sunshine will soon make a return. Forecasters at the National Weather Service, however, are warning that fog could continue to create problems on local roads in the early morning hours for the next day or so.
Forecasters expect Monday’s haze to burn off as the morning progresses with partly sunny conditions forecast in the afternoon hours. The day’s high should climb to near 80 degrees in much of the region. Partly cloudy skies are expected in the evening hours with a low in the mid-60s.
Fog is expected to become a concern moving into the early morning hours Tuesday. Areas of patchy fog are anticipated in much of the region with some places likely to see dense fog develop, as well. Forecasters warn that visibility in some areas may be reduced to less than a mile.

Once Tuesday’s fog burns off, forecasters expect the day to shape up to be a mostly sunny one. The high is anticipated to climb to near 80 in much of the region with mostly clear skies in the overnight hours. Tuesday’s low is forecast to reach the low- to mid-60s.
Wednesday is anticipated to bring mostly sunny skies and a high in the upper 70s. Partly cloudy conditions are forecast in the overnight hours with a low in the mid-60s.

Thursday is expected to also kick off with mostly sunny skies, but the high temperature will be a bit cooler at roughly 73 degrees in much of the Bay area. A chillier overnight low in the low 50s is forecast Thursday evening along with partly cloudy skies.
Friday is expected to be a near repeat of Thursday with sunny skies and a high in the low 70s. Overnight, the evening should be a bit warmer with a low forecast around 60 degrees.
Rain chances are not in the cards during the workweek, but do creep back into the picture over the weekend. There's about a 20 percent chance of showers expected on Sunday.
