Golf Cart Driver Dies In Sun City Center Crash: FL Highway Patrol
A woman driving a golf cart died Wednesday morning after a crash in Sun City Center, the FL Highway Patrol said.
SUN CITY CENTER, FL — A woman driving a golf cart was killed in a crash on State Road 674 in Sun City Center on Wednesday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The 71-year-old Sun City Center woman was heading north on Pebble Beach Road when she was hit by a van that didn’t stop for a stop light at the intersection around 8 a.m.
The van’s driver, a 31-year-old Tampa man, was uninjured in the crash.

The woman was brought to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
