Another major tour is coming to Raymond James Stadium as Kenny Chesney will kick off his 2018 Trip Around the Sun Tour in Tampa on April 21. Billy Joel will return to Amalie Arena on Feb. 9. Joel has been one of the biggest concert draws in Tampa over the years, selling out the 19,092-seat arena seven times. McDonald’s fans in the Tampa Bay area have spoken about the new McDelivery service: They’re lovin’ it. McDonald’s of Tampa Bay announced it expanded McDelivery to an additional 30 McDonald’s restaurants. The Florida Botanical Gardens will offer a new treat for families by hosting a pumpkin carving party. Pumpkin Fest 2017 is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Florida Botanical Gardens, 12520 Ulmerton Road in Largo. The event will take place at McKay Creek Plaza. Attendees can purchase a pumpkin at the event for $5 or bring their own pumpkins. Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation members will get their first pumpkin free. Six artists and artist teams have been selected as finalists to create original art for the new St. Petersburg Pier District. The artists come from across the U.S. and Copenhagen. The Pier Public Art Committee reviewed 277 submissions from more than 70 artists from the U.S., Canada, and other countries. The finalists are: Jun Kaneko (Omaha; junkaneko.com), Nathan Mabry (Los Angeles), Xenobia Bailey (New York City) , Ball-Nogues Studio (Los Angeles; www.ball-nogues.com) Ned Kahn (Sebastopol Calif.; nedkahn.com) and Jeppe Hein (Copenhagen; www.jeppehein.net ). For the 39th year in a row, Pinellas County residents can enjoy a down-home celebration and support Heritage Village. The Pinellas County Historical Society will host the annual Country Jubilee on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Heritage Village, 11909 125th St. N. in Largo.
