Tampa Democratic U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor To Return To Washington

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — In addition to members of Congress, governor, attorney general and other members of the Florida Cabinet, Hillsborough County voters elected three state senators, eight state representatives and four county commissioners on Tuesday.

Polls closed at 7 p.m. local time. However, since Florida has two time zones (Central and Eastern), preliminary election night results will not be released until 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
