Hillsborough County Hosts Live Discussions On Coronavirus Issues

Hillsborough County and its community partners are hosting interactive Facebook Live sessions with experts on coronavirus issues.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Hillsborough County and its community partners are hosting interactive Facebook Live sessions with experts who’ll present the facts about the coronavirus and vaccinations.

The #CrushCOVIDHC Community Conversations are an opportunity for residents to learn more about the vaccines and get answers from local experts.

Here is the schedule for the Facebook Live community conversations:

  • 5 p.m., April 13: Live panel will discuss COVID-19 vaccinations
  • 5 p.m., April 20: Live panel will address general health screenings during COVID-19
  • 5 p.m., April 27: Live panel will offer input on mental health and managing stress during COVID-19

Each weekly session can be viewed by visiting Facebook.com/hillsboroughfl.

Viewers can submit anonymous questions in advance to publicinput.com/CrushCOVIDQuestions. Local experts will be guests on each program to answer the submitted questions.

Viewers who can’t attend the live sessions can view the one-hour program by visiting Facebook.com/hillsboroughfl and clicking Live. Last week, the first session was held and focused on the virus and its variants, vaccinations and the challenges COVID-19 long-haulers experience.

Hillsborough County is hosting this community forum during April’s National Minority Health Month with its partners including Moffitt Cancer Center, the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.
