DOVER, FL — A 37-year-old bicyclist died after being hit by a tractor-trailer Tuesday near Sydney Dover Road in Hillsborough County, state authorities said. The Florida Highway Patrol said the man failed to yield to the tractor-trailer and crossed into its path on State Road 574 near its intersection with Sydney Dover. The tractor-trailer then hit the man, who died of his injuries at the scene, the FHP said. He was not identified.
