1. "Children's Visual Literacy Through Photography" is coming to Florida Museum of Photographic Arts from July 22 to September 11. Visitors will have an opportunity to view the world through the eyes of children age 9 and up from underserved communities. (Tampa Patch)

2. Twenty-three percent of pending home sales fell out of contract throughout Tampa Bay last month, according to Redfin. Redfin said the cooldown in the market is due to the Federal Reserve boosting interest rates in an effort to ease inflation. (Subscription: Tampa Bay Business Journal)

3. Tampa Police Department (TPD) reportedly has admitted that its DUI squad has made several arrests when drivers blew beneath the legal alcohol limit. One officer accused his supervisor of imposing DUI arrest quotas. (Creative Loafing Tampa)

4. The Straz has announced the return of the National Geographic Live series to Ferguson Hall in 2023. It will feature an all-female lineup for the first time in its history. Prices for the three-show season package start at $76 and tickets are to be on sale July 25. (Tampa Bay Newswire)
